International Scientific Workshop 2021: exploring Liryc's research work

The beginning of December was a time of scientific highlights for the IHU Liryc, as on the 1st and 2nd, the institute community met for the 4th edition of the international scientific workshop.

On the programme for the 2021 edition, hybrid sessions divided into three themes:

  • Novel methods and technologies
  • Ventricular tachyarrhythmia’s and electromechanical dysfunctions of the heart,
  • Atrial fibrillation.

The international scientific workshop is an occasion for the Institute's multidisciplinary teams to present their research work and discuss the latest advances. This year, Prof. Matthias Stuber, Prof. Peng-Sheng Chen and Prof. Stanley Nattel, who lead the scientific chairs of excellence, also presented their research programmes to the entire community.

As every year, the members of the Scientific advisory board attended. They will suggest some ideas for the construction of the general scientific programme, after their participation at the event. Michiel Janse from the University of Amsterdam and André Kleber from the Havard Medical School, outgoing members of the Scientific Advisory Board, also shared their work with the teams during a presentation.

Rendez-vous is taken for next year for the 5th edition 100% in presence if sanitary conditions allowed it.
