Signature du mécénat avec Boston Scientific

Liryc signed, this tuesday 3rd of september, a partnership with the global healthcare company Boston Scientific for a support of 1 million euros over 5 years.

Boston Scientific and the Liryc institute share a common commitment to develop innovative medical solutions to improve the health of patients with heart rhythm diseases worldwide. This partnership, led by Professor Pierre Jaïs, deputy director of Liryc, and in the framework of its patronage program, is part of the continuity of scientific and industry collaborations with one of the world leaders in cardiac electrophysiology.

The partnership provides a one million euros commitment with no usage restriction for a period of five years.
This donation will be invested both to support research and training activities in the field of cardiac arrhythmias. It will contribute in particular to the financing of IHU Liryc's international scientific chairs of excellence for atrial fibrillation and cardiac imaging or to the financing of innovative actions for medical training such as the development of simulators or academic programs.

“We have a long-standing relationship with the Liryc Institute and when it comes to training, education and innovation, we believe we are closely aligned with their mission, which is dedicated to the study, diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. The partnership as announced today is both exciting and important. Cardiovascular disease is the world’s biggest killer and cardiac rhythm problems play a huge part in these deaths. At Boston Scientific we are committed to advancing science for life and by partnering with the Liryc Institute, our aim is to support research and development of vital importance and contribute to ongoing studies into the electrical problems of the heart to ultimately save people’s lives.”
