IHU Liryc - the electrophysiology and heart modeling Institute -, is pleased to announce, Michel Vounatsos, CEO of Biogen worldwide, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Administrative Board of the institute for a 3-year term.

As the new chairman, Michel Vounatsos will support the Institute's development facing new strategic challenges, both in terms of medical innovation and economically with financial self-sufficiency in the upcoming years.

His election is a reflection of the international influence of the institute and its proximity to the industrial world to meet these major public health challenges. Committed to scientific innovation, medical research and passionate about innovation, Michel Vounatsos, will put all his experience to the benefit of the institute. He will work alongside the founding institutions of Liryc and its many partners.
