GENCI – “Grand Équipement National de Calcul Intensif," has granted us 9.4 million core-hours (approximately 50 quintillion CPU cycles) for our simulations with computer heart models. The project "Interaction between tissue structure and ion-channel function in cardiac arrhythmia” submitted by Dr. Mark Potse was accepted by the agency, which coordinates the resources of the 3 French national scientific supercomputing centers. This compute time will be used to conduct research on Brugada syndrome, early repolarization syndrome, and atrial fibrillation. >
