The construction of the new building of the Institute is part of the American LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). This is a certification program for eco-friendly and healthy housing by a third party and an international benchmark for design, construction and high performance green buildings operation. The certification provides tools to measure and improve performance in seven key areas with human and environmental impact : sustainable development of sites, water savings, energy efficiency , materials selection, indoor environmental quality, innovation and design, and regional priority. The GOLD level of this certification was obtained for this building.
